The course will concentrate on the legal (language) areas of Economic, Financial and Environmental Criminal Law but with the concentration focusing on looking at the legal language by working through e-mail and speaking exercises. In turn, the course is to be as interactive as possible with also some work/exercises in smaller groups so Victoria Laws can give some individual feedback as well. 

We will also look at explaining legislation in English. Floris Dudok van Heel has given Victoria Laws the most relevant bits of the DCC and these we will concentrate on.

We will also look at ‘politeness’ during the course, which means we will likely look briefly at Cultural Difference. The two tend to go hand in hand. This means we also need to look at as which in communication style.
