Module 2: Legal English Grammar
This three hour module takes the form of a workshop and is not interactive as such. The topics that will be covered include the following:
- A brief refresher on Standard English Grammar
- The Rudiments of Legal English Grammar to include basic sentence structure, punctuation, word formation, verb forms, independent and dependent clauses, restrictive and non-restrictive clauses
- An introduction to Advanced Legal English Grammar including lexical variation, doubling & tripling and all-inclusiveness
